Hello Folks!
It's that time again when we will come together this weekend and share what we have been doing and learning through RFM with others in a grand recital! It will be a fun, rewarding event with reception and refreshments immediately following each performance!
Program 1: This Friday May 10 at 6 PM
Program 2: This Saturday May 11 at 11 AM

Scroll all the way down below this email and you will find a list of all participants and the times you will be performing. Please double check this list and inform me of any changes that may be needed via text, at your lesson, or even at the event for last minute changes. I did not Pre-arrange assigned food-bringers or greeters like I have in the past, but If you would like to volunteer to bring some snacks or dessert to share at the reception or help with the program please do so! We could always use more help! ESPECIALLY FOOD BRINGERS FOR THE RECEPTIONS! Please let me know if you will be bringing snacks or desserts to share. Thanks.
S0 WHAT'S NEW?
The big news is our new location! We will be meeting at Legacy House of Avondale - a beautiful brand-new senior living facility with a very nice upright grand acoustic piano and a private meeting room with all the up,to date modern wi-fi and audio-visual equipment we will need. The program will also be opened to the residents in the facility so please be friendly and respectful of anyone who may be in attendance that might be in a wheelchair or have special needs. I have sent directions and links by text earlier and they are also included here:

PLEASE STAY:
Please stay for the entire program your child is performing in, even if they are one of the first performers. Each program will last about 90 minutes but they are fun and entertaining so please have the expectation of staying for the full program and joining us at the reception following, unless you have a circumstance beyond your control (work schedule, important family obligation, etc.) that requires you to leave early and you have informed me ahead of time of your early departure. It is important that there is a good sized audience for all participants and many of the more advanced older students will be performing toward the end of each performance so you will want to stay for those great presentations.
LIVE VIDEO BROADCAST:
Once again the entire program will be broadcast live. If you can not attend you may watch it as it happens, send the link to family and friends around the world so they can view it, and watch later because the performance will remain posted on my Facebook business page. You do not need to log into Facebook, have a Facebook account, or be "friends" with me on Facebook to view this, although you may want to "Like" my page while you are there to receive further updates and other information. Make sure each student has any music or books they will need, has warmed up and practiced earlier that day before coming to the event, and is dressed sharp and excited about putting their best performance out there! Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the start of the program you are participating in so the students will have time to get accustomed to the stage and find their seats in the front rows. The exact list of the order of performance will not be printed in the program handout, but as in the past the performance order will be determined by the order in which they are seated within each group. Each program will be divided into three segments in the following order: 1) children under 12 years of age; 2) adults and absentee video participants; 3) Older children and teens 12 years old and older. I will direct children and teens to their designated seats up front when they arrive. Adults who are performing can sit anywhere and I will call them up when it is their turn.

Hello Folks! The 2018 Holiday Recitals are about to happen this weekend Friday December 14 and Saturday December 15!! Be sure to take a moment now to do 4 simple things that will keep you informed and prepared;
1) DOUBLE CHECK YOUR TIME!
At the bottom of this post you will find a copy of the participant list in the printed program that will be distributed to each guest at the events. Please double check this list to confirm I have you or your student listed with correct program time and spelling. Then be sure to inform me of any changes there may be via text, at your lesson, or by replying to this email.
2) SPREAD THE WORD!
Below are links to the invitations/announcements I have posted on my Facebook business page that you can use to Re-post on your own social media or even send directly to family and friends anywhere in the world so they can attend in person or view online the specific program you will be participating in. Let’s share the great accomplishments of all our students with everyone! Just click on the appropriate link below for all the details, then hit the share button in the announcement for distribution options within Facebook, any other social media, or through text and email. It’s quick, simple, and communicates well!

3) SEND PICTURES OR SHORT VIDEO CLIPS TO ENHANCE THE PROGRAM!
Since we will have three programs with a balanced number of participants spread equally among them, there will be time to display fun or interesting photos or short video clips of each participant after they perform. Things like childhood performances, photos of sports or other acrivity achievements, and funny pictures and videos help liven up the program. We want this to be a positive and entertaining program for everyone to enjoy in its entirety! Just send me items to display via e-mail or text by no later than this Friday afternoon so I can include them in the appropriate program.
4) SHOW UP EXPECTING A FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE!
As in the past, each program will be immediately followed by a reception at the event location. Feel free to bring any snacks or desserts to share with others. You are not obligated to bring anything, but if you would like to, a representative from the host church will greet you at the door and direct you where to place your dish. RFM will also be providing a sandwich tray and drinks. There will be t-shirts, music tote bags and other products available for sale and as prizes.

You will also each receive a reminder text a day or so before your scheduled event with program time, address and map link. It will also include your specific program invitation and video links to easily share with friends and family. Please arrive at least 10 to 15 minutes early so students can be prepared and be sure to remember any needed sheet music!

With all the excitement and focus on the upcoming recitals it’s easy for future plans concerning lessons to get lost in the shuffle. But if you act quickly you can lock in great savings over the normal semester renewal rate of 10% off regular prices and also pick up a few free lessons to help you or your student “keep it warm” over the summer months for a head start next school year. Since most semester plans expire at the end of this month, like in previous years I will offer you even greater value to renew for next school year early. And these 3 options are available to anyone, even if you are currently on a monthly plan or your renewal date is not until later. You can even pause your plan for the summer and restart later, but whatever you do - Act fast for the best savings!

The fine print: After July 15Th all semester renewals revert back to the regular price of 10% off the monthly price. All summer bonus lessons must be used during June, July or August only. Expired makeup lessons since January 1st 2018 must be used in June or July only. After July 31st all remaining makeup lessons more than 2 months old will expire. Makeup and bonus lessons may be used to delay the start date of your early renewal semester or pause an existing semester. Contact me directly for any questions and to set up flexible summer lesson scheduling. All semester plans with upcoming expiration dates will receive invoices customized with best renewal option available and remaining makeup lessons indicated. Invoices will be modified to lesser discount package as each cutoff date is reached if at least half of each invoice is not paid by the promotional renewal date. As always,payment can be made online or at lessons with any debit or credit card, but for promotional pricing, in-person payment by check or cash is preferred to avoid processing fees if possible.
